prim21309:Troubleshooting inaccurate totals in the Resource Table.

1. Click: Format, Organize, Activity Data Item and Group by Resource
    
   
    
   Click: OK
    


2. Run the RES – Activities for Resource ? filter…
    
   
    
   …and choose the resource name you would like to analyze.
    


3. Press: F11 to open the columns dialog box and add the following:
    
   
    
   Click: OK
    


4. Click: View, Resource Table and in the lower-left…
    
   
    
   …and select the same resource as in Step 2 above.
    


5. In the columns, you will now see the information that attributes to the total in the Resource Table.
    
   Check the accuracy of the Quantity at Completion values.

NOTE: The most common mistake is made when resources are assigned and the budgeted cost or budgeted quantity are manually populated.
Instead, please populate the respective at completion values; the respective budgeted amounts will automatically backfill.

Therefore totals in the resource table/profile are reflecting the cost per day, multiplied by the number of days in that time intervale (ie: week/month/quarter/year).
